Who We Supply and How Ordering Works
Raiva Food sells business to business, by the container or the mixed pallet load. Our buyers are import and distribution companies stocking a national or regional market, supermarket and chain-store procurement teams, repackers putting product into retail packs under their own label, and manufacturers buying tomato paste, date paste or saffron as an ingredient. If you are buying for a household or a single restaurant, we are not the right supplier — a local importer of ours will be.
Where the Photographs and Figures on This Site Come From
The product photographs and video across this site are our own, taken at the packing lines and cold stores we load from — not stock imagery. Specification figures are published only where we have the measured value for that line; where we do not hold a verified figure, the row is left out rather than filled with an industry-typical number. That is why some spec tables here are shorter than a competitor's. Ask us and we will send the current analysis for the lot you are quoted on.

- We quote. You receive a price, the packing we would load, and what we can and cannot commit to on your route.
- We confirm the specification in writing. The agreed grade and specification are restated on the proforma invoice before you pay anything.
- We load and document the shipment. Export paperwork is prepared per shipment; pre-shipment inspection by your nominated agency is available at your cost.

Which trade terms and shipping routes do you work on?
Terms are quoted per enquiry rather than published as a fixed list, because the available Incoterms® 2020 rules depend on how your goods travel. Raiva Food ships by sea from Bandar Abbas and overland through Iran's land borders — and the sea-only terms do not apply on an overland route. Name the term you want in your enquiry and we will confirm what we can offer on that route.
Is Raiva Food certified?
We publish only certificates we actually hold and can evidence, and we are working toward ISO 9001. Current certification and analysis documents are supplied directly with your quotation, so you receive the version valid on your shipment date rather than a scan that may have expired. Why buy saffron, dates and raisins from Iran?
Because it is where a large share of the world crop is actually grown. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations reports that Iran produces 85–90 percent of the world's saffron and "remains the global leader and a benchmark setter for quality standards". Iran is also among the world's largest producers of dates and raisins. Sourcing at origin removes a trading layer between the grower and your warehouse.
How do I know the specifications you publish are accurate?
Because we leave out what we cannot evidence. Every figure on a product page is either a public reference — an HS code, a botanical name — or a value measured on our own product. Where a figure is not yet confirmed, the row is omitted rather than filled in. If your market requires a specific standard, including the FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius food standards, tell us at quotation stage: we would rather decline a requirement we cannot meet than agree to it and disappoint you at the port.
